Accepted Track Formats

Which track format is supported?

Before trying to upload a track, make sure that you've saved it under one of the supported file formats. As a good practice, always go for the best quality you can provide.

Jamendo accepts WAV, FLAC, and AIFF files with the following characteristics: 

• Bit depth: 16 or 24 
• Sample rate: 44.1 or 48 kHz 
• 1 or 2 channels 

The maximum size of a single file is 480 MB.

Any other format cannot be uploaded correctly. These requirements and restrictions have been put in place to ensure the best sound quality. Thank you for adhering to them!

Out of our experience, most of the upload issues are linked to uploads being made with tracks saved under a non-supported format. If the upload doesn't work, but the format is correct, you can try to re-export the master in this format once again. Something may have gone wrong with the initial encoding.
